Mille came to visit this weekend with her friend. Saturday we didn’t have much to do so I looked up a few good places in Portland and we went on a tour. We started with the Pittock Mansion. What a cool place. We didn’t have time to go inside but we did tour the exterior and gardens. From there we drove through downtown to the Widmer Gasthaus for lunch. We had a great meal and some great beer. On the way home we stopped at a local fruit stand for raspberries, blueberries, peaches, and cherries. Oregon is a great place to live for local produce. We should be known for our produce.
